I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and have started into a great new year.  The 2023 Lake Erie fishing season will be on us in just a few short months ahead.  The walleye outlook looks excellent.  For those of you who fished with us in 2022 you already know that we were on the fifth year of a “younger fish cycle” with most of your catch taken up by young fish in the 20-24″ range.  This year should bring, what I would call “primo” sized walleye for most of your catch, the “not so small” and “not too big” walleye which of course are the premium eaters.  I expect them to be in the 23-26″ range for most of the catch . 

More news for the upcoming 2023 Lake Erie charter boat fishing season:  We have a few surprises in store for you on our second boat the Blackfin Combi named “BRING IT ON” in Ashtabula, OH this season.  There will be multiple captains manning the helm bringing you many years of combined experience.  You can read more at our Bring It On web here:    https://www.lake-erie-fishing-charters.com/

We don’t do this often but his year we will be offering early season drift casting trips.  I think your success should be fairly good due to the amount of walleyes we observed the last few years.  So if anyone wishes to try contact a casting trip give me a call.  (Note:  these are more for the serious experienced anglers)

We are in process of tackle and boat work.  Yes, the behind the scenes work that takes up much time, even right now in the snow covered off season.  There will be a few new things show up on each boat which may enhance your charter fishing experience.
